All therapists have the relevant Working With Children Checks for the state or Territory in which they work (SA, WA or NT) and Professional Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Sara King
Founding Director/Principal Occupational Therapist
Our experienced team of Paediatric Occupational Therapists is led and supported by Sara King.
Sara is an experienced and passionate OT who has been working with children, young people and their families for over 20 years. Sara is dedicated to ongoing professional development and support of the staff within her practice and has engaged in a variety of clinical and leadership training and certifications over her career. Sara's leadership and clinical expertise is integrated throughout the practice and evident in continued therapist clinical skill advancement opportunities.
Sara's career to date has been varied with a consistent focus on community based paediatric service delivery. Sara graduated from the University of South Australia in 2004 and found her passion for paediatrics within her first year of practice. Sara has worked in Australia for the vast majority of her career, but has also had the opportunity to work and volunteer overseas. She worked as a Clinical Specialist in one of London’s largest Child Development Services for 3 years. Also whilst in the United Kingdom, Sara was a consultant OT at one of the country’s only residential schools for children and young people with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or significant behavioural difficulties. In 2013 she spent 12 months in Kenya engaging in various volunteer project opportunities. On her return to Australia in 2015, Sara was working as a Senior Occupational Therapist and Team Leader of an Occupational Therapy team in a community setting prior to setting up her own practice in 2019.
Aside from working within her private practice, Sara has worked as a Clinical Tutor with the University of South Australia, supporting OT students undertaking their paediatric placement. She is also a motivated speaker and workshop facilitator, with a focus on providing training to eductors and support personnell to assist in the integration of therapeutic principles into the learning environment.
Over the years, Sara has worked with children and young people of different ages and with differing OT goals and intervention area needs, with early intervention a key area of passion. Her clinical area of expertise is working with children who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Developmental Delays, however she has vast experience working with a range of children and young people experiencing challenges due to other diagnosis. Sara has also completed the accreditation process enabling her to provide support under the Medicare Mental Health Endorsement Program and is a member of OT Australia. Sara is an active member of several professional special interest groups within the realm of paediatrics. Sara is passionate about working with those around the child to ensure therapy is integrated into all aspects of a child’s life. This is a philosophy she shares with all therapists within her practice.

Emma Moyle
Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist
Emma is an experienced and dedicated therapist with over 14 years working with children, young people and their families as an OT. Emma joined the Early Years Occupational Therapy team in March, 2020 and demonstrates her passion for working with children and their families to develop the skills to allow them to thrive at home and in the community with each and every family she engages with.
Emma graduated from the University of South Australia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) with First Class Honours. Since then Emma has worked with children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities including those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability and Blind/Vision Impairment.
Emma has experience working in a range of settings including home, clinic, education, community, group programs, training and consultation but has a strong passion for supporting families to work through and improve function in daily routine activities in their relevant community locations.
In 2012 Emma had the privilege of working with the Australian Volunteers for International Development in Cambodia with a local disability organisation, learning many valuable lessons about supporting families in a way that ensures sustainability after she has stepped away from a face to face interaction.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Emma has undertaken additional training in the areas of mealtime assessment and intervention, sleep consultation, sensory processing and most recently Clinical Supervision and Support accrediation to further enhance her role in assisting all clinical OT’s within our practice to reach their professional potential. Emma has also completed the Mental Health Endorsement Program accreditation enabling her to provide support under this program and she is a member of OT Australia.
Belinda Goosen
Senior Occupational Therapist
Belinda joined the Early Years Occupational Therapy team in January 2023, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for working with the paediatric population as an Occupational Therapist.
Belinda graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from the Auckland University of Technology in 2017. She started her career in Paediatrics and is passionate about working with children across the ages. She is an active member of her profession, a member of OT Australia and is always seeking new and exciting professional development opportunities.
Belinda has a special interest in Sensory Processing and it’s impact on daily activities and she is currently completing her Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration (CASI) which will further advance her theoretical and practical tools of assessment and intervention in this complex area of practice.
Belinda also has an interest in handwriting interventions and working with children within the school environment, supporting their integration, participation and engagement in what is one of their most important childhood ‘occupations’. She is passionate about working with educators and parents to ensure her interventions at school are relevant and sustainable for the wider community activities relevant to the child and their family.
Tammy Maddock
Administration Support Officer
Tammy joined the Early Years Occupational Therapy team in June 2022. She is the friendly voice you will hear when you call our team, and she is the primary person who will be in touch with you to manage the adminstration components of engaging in our service delivery. Tammy works with our families to understand their needs and best schedule appointments around these.
Tammy has worked her entire career in health administration, with a focus on allied health in recent years. She has an array of skills to support our therapists in undertaking seemless therapy interventions and has an incredible knowledge of the various funding schemes our families may be utilising, including NDIS, Medicare and Private Health Insurance.
