Funding Options
There are several funding options that may be available to you and your child.
National Disability Insurance SchemeSelf managed and Plan Managed NDIS participants are able to utilise their NDIS plan to access fully funded OT services with us. The Early Years Occupational Therapy rate is as per 2024/2025 NDIA price guide. Fees are reviewed annually in line with the NDIA price guide release.
If you do not yet have an NDIS plan please visit www.ndis.gov.au to determine your child’s eligibility for funds within this scheme.
MedicareWith GP referral, your child may be eligible to access a Medicare plan, which allows a medicare rebate to be claimed for a set number of OT sessions. Please note, out of pocket expenses do apply. We have therapists within the practice that can also provide services under the Mental Health Endorsement Program through Medicare.
Private Health InsuranceDependent on your level of Private Health Insurance Extras, Occupational Therapy initial and subsequent sessions may be part covered. Please contact your health insurer directly to confirm if you are covered, and rebates that may apply.
