Fine Motor Skills
Fine Motor skills refer to the co-ordinated movements of the small muscles of the hand and include activities such as:
- Object grasp and manipulation
- Pencil grip and control
- Early writing skills (ability to copy pre-writing shapes)
- Handwriting skills (letter formation, placement on line, sizing, spacing, legibility)
- Scissor skills
