Fine Motor Skills

Fine Motor skills refer to the co-ordinated movements of the small muscles of the hand and include activities such as:
  • Object grasp and manipulation
  • Pencil grip and control
  • Early writing skills (ability to copy pre-writing shapes)
  • Handwriting skills (letter formation, placement on line, sizing, spacing, legibility)
  • Scissor skills
